Fisrt atm machine in the world was kept to use in North London, United States,on june 27th in the year 1967.First ATM machine was kept by Barclays bank, invented by John Shepherd Barron. Though City bank kept the first ATM machine in the year 1939 in New York but removed it after 6 months due to lack of usage of the people.PIN (personal identification number) numbers was used right from the beginning of the first ATM machine was launched.Other good information from the first ATM machine in the world is it did not charge any fee for usage. English comedy actor Reg Varney who was very famous at those times used these machine ,so as to ensure maximum publicity for the machines among the people.
